Trio of Sandhill Cranes Captured in March 2011 at the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge in Colorado. We have been traveling to Monte Vista every spring since 2010 to see the annual migration of Sandhill Cranes. Its a very impressive spot at times with literally thousands of cranes visible on the ground and in the sky at peak migration time.
