Great Blue Heron with Fish - Lake Pontrain

We captured this Great Blue Heron while on our trip to New Orleans in September of 2012. This was a great national geographic moment as we watched this Great Blue Huron capture the monster fish pictured above. This fish was nearly the size of the bird and he gulped it down with ease.
