Bald Eagle on Telephone Pole - Maxwell

Captured this Bald Eagle at the Maxwell National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. My wife and I took a trip down from Denver yesterday (~3.5 hrs driving). This refuge harbors up to 60 wintering Bald Eagles during Peak season in February. We spotted at least 8 distinct Bald Eagles, 1 Golden Eagle, and dozens of Hawks of various varieties. This Eagle was captured on a telephone pole on Hwy 505 about 2 miles west of the Refuge Entrance. This is the first time I've seen a Bald Eagle Hunting from a telephone pole.
